Pets are Family, too!
For clients who receive home-delivered meals and have pets, our Pets are Family Too Program can provide pet food for dogs, cats, birds, and other animals.
Pets play an essential role in the life of a homebound senior, providing a critical social connection that enhances their physical and mental health and wellbeing. However, caring for a pet can be financially and physically challenging for older adults.
What is the Pets are Family, Too Program?
Age Well has received a special grant from Meals on Wheels America to provide pet food for your furry/feathered family member.
Through the Pets are Family Too program, we will help provide food for pets of seniors in need. The program serves Meals on Wheels recipients in South Orange County who have filled out and returned the request form to their volunteer delivery driver.
This is a limited time and for as long as funding permits.

Eligibility:
- 60+ Years Old + Orange County Resident
- Must Receive Age Well's Home-Delivered Meals
Program Benefits:
- Free supplemental pet food.
- Those who receive home delivered meals receive their pet food as part of the same delivery.
