Dog Days at Florence Sylvester

Therapy Dogs Bring Comfort and Connection

Dog Days at Florence Sylvester Senior Center is more than just a fun event. It’s a celebration of the meaningful connection between seniors and therapy dogs. These visits offer more than companionship—they help reduce stress, ease feelings of isolation, and support emotional wellness for older adults. For many, a friendly wag or gentle nudge is a reminder that they’re seen, supported, and valued.
These events are part of Age Well’s broader commitment to whole-person care. Alongside daily lunch service, fitness classes, and health-focused programs, our wellness events aim to support both the body and spirit. Dog Days brings joy into the everyday, and we invite you to experience it for yourself. Whether you’re a regular guest or curious to stop by, all are welcome.
