The Foundation of Laguna Woods Village

The Foundation of Laguna Woods Village is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a non-profit corporation, for the purpose of raising and distributing charitable funds in Laguna Woods Village, a senior community of 18,000 residents in South Orange County, CA.
The Foundation was established in 1997 by a small group of residents who saw a need to provide temporary financial assistance to qualifying residents of our community.
Specifically, The Foundation provides temporary assistance to qualifying residents of Laguna Woods Village facing financial emergencies. Help may include supermarket cash cards, prescription payments, bill payments for utility services, medical and dental bills, caregiver and respite care services, and rental of emergency response devices for residents at risk of falling.
The Foundation supports Age Well’s regular Meals on Wheels service as well as funds a special weekend and holiday meal program for residents in Laguna Woods Village who are considered food insecure because of disability or other factors. In addition, it partners with Age Well to provide residents with transportation to South County Outreach’s Food Market.
