This position is responsible for managing Age Well Senior Services Meals on Wheels program at
the Oasis Senior Center. Meals on Wheels is a program that delivers meals to seniors who are homebound and unable to purchase or prepare their own meals.

Responsibilities include assessing clients, signing up participants, submitting daily and monthly reports, managing volunteers and personal interaction with seniors. Please see the full job description here.

The case manager assistant is responsible for assisting the case managers in providing case management to
South Orange County older adults over the age of 60 who need assistance and direction in their abilities to
live independently in a safe environment. Bilingual English/Spanish Required. Hourly position – 30/hr week. Please see the full job description here.

Internship Program

Age Well’s internship program is designed to provide students and recent graduates with an opportunity to learn about social, cultural, psychological, cognitive, and biological aspects of aging. Internships are offered year round. 

Nutrition Programs

The intern will learn about nutrition programs offered at our centers, funding sources, eligibility requirements and regulations. Additional opportunities may include developing nutrition education presentations and/or writing nutrition articles. Meals-on-Wheels home visits (this opportunity is available to students who are obtaining their RN license).

Senior Centers

Our centers have a broad set of programs and needs. You will develop strategies to expand awareness of senior center activities in the community. Evaluate programs, events, and activities, and make recommendations for enhancements.

Community Outreach – Create, implement, and publicize center programs/events.

Socialization – Interns will have the opportunity to interact with our clients in various settings

Case Management

Home visits and assessments (Internship opportunities for this category are only available to licensed RN’s and licensed social workers).


Graduate student; undergraduate student; or graduated from college within 6 months of beginning the internship.


Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, proficient computer skills, and organizational skills. Other key qualities appreciated in our interns are commitment and motivation.
